Remind me — what counts as a set?

  • A chow: three in a row, inside one suit.

  • A pung: three copies of the same tile.

  • A kong: all four copies, still counting as one set.

A winning hand is four sets and a pair.

If two players want the same discard, priority settles it. A win beats a kong. A kong beats a pung. A pung beats a chow.
