2. Grievance officer

Harshad Jogaikar is the grievance officer for Faanclub, reachable at support@faanclub.in. Raise a complaint about how your data is handled directly with them.

3. What we collect

Account data: name, email address and, if you sign in with Google, your Google avatar.

Progress and gameplay data: lessons completed, quiz answers, drill attempts, and the moves you make at the practice table and in friends’ rooms.

Device and analytics data: a random id generated in your browser, and anonymous counts of which pages and features are used. This id is never linked to your account.

Support correspondence: anything you send us by email or a contact form.

Cohort membership: which friends’ room or, in future, which tutor-led cohort you belong to.

4. Why we collect it

Account data runs sign-in and lets us reach you about your account. Progress data drives the course itself — what lesson you are on, what the coach says next. Analytics tells us which parts of the course work and which do not. Support correspondence lets us answer you. Cohort membership shows friends’ rooms the right players.

5. Consent

You give consent by creating an account and by agreeing to these terms during sign-up. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your account or by emailing support@faanclub.in.

6. Third parties who process data

Hostinger hosts the application and the production database. If you sign in with Google, Google provides us your name, email address and avatar — we never see your Google password.

That is the complete list. There is no third-party analytics vendor: analytics events are anonymous, stored in our own database, and never shared. There is no AI provider behind the coach — coach guidance is computed within the service itself, from precomputed content and game state, and no gameplay data or question you type leaves our infrastructure to produce it.

7. Retention

We keep account and progress data for as long as your account exists. Deleting your account removes your account and progress data; anonymous analytics events, which were never linked to your account, are not affected by an account deletion because they cannot be traced back to it.

8. Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your account data, and nominate someone to act for you in the event of your death or incapacity, by emailing support@faanclub.in. We respond within 2 business days. If you are unhappy with how we handle a request, contact the grievance officer above.

9. Cookies and local storage

Faanclub keeps your preferences and in-progress lesson state in your browser’s local storage so the app works instantly without waiting on the server. Your account and finished-lesson progress are stored on our server once you are signed in. We use one small, non-tracking cookie to keep you signed in — no third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

10. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) throughout, store passwords nowhere (sign-in is via Google), and scope every database query to the signed-in account so one user cannot read another’s data.

11. Children

Faanclub is an 18+ service. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will email you when we make a material change; continuing to use the service after that counts as accepting the update.
